SR strategy
USG People aims to lead the way in discovering, deploying and developing talent. USG People focuses on finding innovative ways of creating added value for all its employees, clients and other stakeholders, while at the same time being mindful of what it can give (back) to society and profitability in a broad sense. USG People defines profitability in a broad sense as bringing benefits for people and planet as well as financial profit.
SR mission
Our social responsibility objective is defined as follows: ‘USG People wants to distinguish itself as being the go-to employer for putting the growth and development of all people first.’
USG People takes ‘all people’ to mean not just its own internal and external staff but also those who are, for whatever reason, at a greater or lesser distance from the labour market, for example people with a disability or those on benefits. USG People wants to make an extra effort on their behalf to enable them to play a part in society again. ‘All people’ also expresses USG People’s strong commitment to diversity.
The nature of our services – helping people find a suitable job – already serves an important social purpose. Having a job means generating an income and having a meaningful daily pursuit. Having a suitable job challenges people to grow further. It sees to it that people are active participants in society and makes them feel part of society. This social commitment means being willing to make an effort and invest in it. A job also provides independence and self-esteem. However, we believe that our role goes beyond merely matching people and companies and aim to achieve the right balance between the three Ps: People, Planet and Profit. This is the message we want to convey through our social responsibility (SR) policy.
